Celebrating 16 Years
Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 817 Southfield, Michigan, celebrated 16 years of service by giving back to their community! In honor of the milestone, members organized a canned good drive and a back-to-school supply drive. Thanks to the generosity and dedication of their chapter and supporters, both initiatives were a tremendous success – helping children prepare for the year ahead and providing food for those at a local shelter.

Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 864 Clarkston, Michigan held their annual #LucaStrong hike and after-party fundraiser to benefit the Michigan Parkinson’s Foundation. About 100 participants hiked the 3-mile trail at the Holly Recreation Area and then attended the after-party at a local restaurant. The event raised $22,000, including Matching Funds from Woman’s Life, to help those diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease with expenses that are not covered by insurance.

Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 865 Southfield, Michigan are passionate about supporting the Annual Community Baby Shower held by the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs - Detroit Club. This year, members quilted 107 baby blankets for the baby shower, which were donated to the neonatal unit at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. The blankets will be distributed to families with the greatest need.
