Supporting Fragile X

Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 701 Fort Myers, Florida, recently turned a fundraising dinner into an opportunity to support families impacted by Fragile X syndrome. Through raffle ticket sales, the chapter raised $1,100—including Matching Funds from Woman’s Life—to donate to the EHL Fragile X Foundation. The foundation promotes community awareness of Fragile X syndrome, provides guidance and support for Fragile X families, contributes to research and advocates for those affected by Fragile X syndrome. This generous donation will help fund meaningful services, including transportation to appointments, special needs items and birthday and holiday gifts for children living with Fragile X syndrome.

Hope Blooms

During the annual Hope Blooms fundraiser for Hunter Hospitality House, members of Woman’s Life Chapter 820 Port Huron, Michigan, sold tickets for a balloon pop—and they sold out in a record-breaking 35 minutes! Thanks to the amazing community response, the chapter raised $1,500, including Matching Funds from Woman’s Life, to help support Hunter Hospitality House’s mission of providing complimentary lodging just steps from the hospital for individuals receiving treatment or comforting a sick loved one.

Apple Raffle

Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 814 St. Clair, Michigan, hosted an Apple themed raffle to support the St. Clair High School PTO Senior All Night Party. Tickets sold for $5 each, with strong support from students, parents and the community. The raffle raised nearly $14,000, including Matching Funds from Woman’s Life, providing essential funding for the long standing Senior All Night Party, a supervised, substance free celebration focused on student safety. St. Clair High School has continued the tradition since 1988.
