Intuitions® Flex Flexible Premium Deferred Annuity (M03-2800 FLEX)

Plan for your secure financial future with a flexible premium deferred annuity from Woman’s Life Insurance Society.

With an Intuitions Flex Flexible Premium Deferred Annuity from Woman’s Life Insurance Society® you determine how much and how often to contribute. You may choose to make regular payments such as monthly, quarterly, or annually. You may also decide to make additional payments periodically when the opportunity arises.

Your funds earn competitive, fixed interest rates and grow on a tax-deferred basis. When you’re ready to begin taking distributions, you’ll have several options from a one-time lump sum to a regular income guaranteed to last the rest of your life, no matter how long you live.

The Intuitions Flex Flexible Premium Deferred Annuity can be an effective option for your retirement savings goals if you want:

  • Plan for your secure financial future by making regular contributions to your retirement savings, with or without an initial lump sum premium payment;
  • A guaranteed minimum interest rate on each premium payment;
  • Tax-deferred earnings opportunities that reflect the current interest rate environment;
  • Establish a new Traditional or Roth IRA (if you qualify) or non-IRA annuity.

Special Features

Initial premium: You can start this plan with an initial premium payment as follows:

  • Ages 0–24: $500 (or $25 monthly on an automatic bank draft)
  • Ages 25–49: $1,000 (or $50 monthly on an automatic bank draft)
  • Ages 50–85: $1,000 (or $100 monthly on an automatic bank draft)

Maximum premium allowed at issue is $500,000. The plan is suitable for rollovers from qualified retirement plans such as a 401(k) or when funds are moved from other sources such as matured certificates of deposit.

Additional premium payments: We recommend making consistent periodic premium payments to maximize your accumulated value over time. With a Woman’s Life Intuitions Flex Flexible Premium Deferred Annuity, premium payments may be made monthly by automatic bank draft, or we will send you quarterly, semiannual, or annual reminders.

Principal guarantee: Your cash surrender value will not be less than the total amount of premium paid minus previous withdrawals.

Interest crediting method: Each premium payment earns interest based on the current rate in effect at the time of the premium payment. The interest rate for a premium payment is subject to change on each anniversary of that premium payment and may go up or down. Interest earned on a premium payment is credited with interest at the same rate as the premium payment. This unique interest crediting method allows you to capture multiple interest rates, which can be an attractive feature especially in times of fluctuating rates.

The interest rate can never fall below the minimum guaranteed rate as specified in your contract.

Decreasing surrender and withdrawal charges: Charges are imposed during the first eight policy years. Withdrawal and surrender charges gradually decrease, and end entirely after eight years as shown in the following chart:

Certificate Year 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9+
Surrender / Withdrawal Charge 7% 7% 6% 5% 4% 3% 2% 1% 0%

Special endorsements: This plan may be endorsed for both Traditional and Roth IRAs.
