Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 820 Port Huron, Michigan, sold tickets for a 50/50 drawing during the United Way of St. Clair County’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast. Members enjoyed breakfast, mingling with guests, and the entertainment! Including Matching Funds from Woman’s Life, chapter members donated $382 to help the United Way provide health and human services that empower local residents to raise their quality of life.
Dashing for Dollars
Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 800 Fort Gratiot, Michigan, conducted a Dash for Cash at the annual banquet supporting New Life Christian Academy, a school with a mission to provide a Christian-centered education while challenging students to strive for academic excellence. In one minute, members collected $902 from the crowd. Thanks to Matching Funds from Woman’s Life, the chapter donated $1,402 to the academy (that’s $23 per second)!
Pizza Party
Members and friends of Woman’s Life Club 11 Port Huron, Michigan, gathered at the Dorsey House for a Pizza Party Fundraiser. Together they collected $300, and with Matching Funds from Woman’s Life, they will make a generous donation of $600 to Old Newsboys. The Old Newsboys of Port Huron accepts monetary donations which are used to purchase boots, socks, and underwear for St. Clair County children in need (ages 4-13) during the Christmas season.
