Service in Action
Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 817 Southfield, Michigan, proudly partnered with the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Task Force, Inc. to serve their community during a meaningful food giveaway. This act of service supported the mission of the Task Force, to facilitate social change and education of youth, and to promote justice. Through compassion, unity, and intentional service, chapter members brought Dr. King’s vision to life—meeting real community needs while uplifting the values of dignity, care, and respect for all.
Grateful, Thankful, & Lucky Too!
Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 836 Port Huron, Michigan, hosted a festive Thanksgiving-themed raffle during the SOS Marysville Food Pantry’s Together We Can Fight Hunger fundraising dinner. Thanks to the generosity of those in attendance, the raffle raised $1,155, including Matching Funds from Woman’s Life, to support neighbors in their community experiencing food insecurity.
Dancing to Fight Hunger
Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 837 Fort Gratiot, Michigan, held a successful line dance/hustle fundraiser to benefit Mid City Nutrition. The 38 women who attended enjoyed a fun-filled, entertaining evening of dancing, laughing, and learning how to bust a move! Including Matching Funds from Woman’s Life, Chapter 837 donated $1,000 to help provide food to people experiencing homelessness and food insecurities in St. Clair County.
