The event featured bowling, dinner, raffle baskets, 50/50 drawing, and other prizes. The community came together in a powerful show of love and support, raising $14,000, including Matching Funds from Woman’s Life, to help the teens with post-graduation expenses.
Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 820 Port Huron, Michigan conducted a Dash for Cash at the annual fundraiser for the Spero Center, an organization that provides practical, emotional, and spiritual support to those facing unplanned pregnancy. Members floated around the room with butterfly nets for one minute, collecting cash donations totaling $1,445. Including Matching Funds from Woman’s Life, the chapter donated $1,945 to the center.
Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 830 Port Huron, Michigan, supported the Sanborn Gratiot Memorial Home during their Dueling Pianos fundraiser. Members sold tickets to win a lottery board filled with scratch-off tickets. Ticket sales totaled $1,545, and with Matching Funds from Woman’s Life, the chapter will donate $2,045 to assist this non-profit facility in providing residential assisted living for the elderly with a mission to serve lower income seniors.
